CREATIVE IDEAS ACCESS



The access of information from the creative idea section of the CIMS system is the same as with the procedure documentation facility. You simply first click on the CREATIVE IDEA SUPPORT first or enter the letter (C). This takes you to the creative idea section as shown below


Initially it will look like this but you can either keep the categories specified or change them to your requirements or personal interests. You may be wanting to write a book. This would be a good place to do so. The categories that the developer selected were: In the category of MY SPECIAL RECIPES there is another breakdown into sub categories as shown below:


Note the incorrect spelling of recipes on the heading and line item. We will correct this in the next section dealing with SETTING UP THE CREATIVE IDEA SUPPORT FACILITY to show how easy it is to do so.

When you select HOME REMEDIES you will get the following menu:



Each of the first three line items refer to a text document while the forth continuation option refers to another menu.

The other section that has sub categories is MY SPECIAL TECHNIQUES. This has the following sub categories:



Rather than providing the system with no entries, we have decided to provide you with two sections that have sub categories and two sections that do not have sub categories. You can leave the sections and sub categories as is or simply replace them with your own design. The process will be discussed in the next section.

The MY INVENTIONS section goes directly to inventions & enhancements as they were initially formulated. Again here the first three are line items that refer to documents while the last entry is a continuation to another menu. This is similar to HOME REMEDIES.

Now if you click on A) CIMS - IDEA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM or enter the letter (A) you will get the document file related to that creative ideas as shown below:



This is a regular Free form word processing facility rather than the paragraphic word processing facility utilized in the procedure documentation section. What you will see is the first page of the document that describes the creative idea. In this case it was CIMS system itself. Obviously it was entered later then inception but done so to show an example of the method.

So you can use either the mouse or entry of a line item code to select from the menu. You can also enter the ESC key to got back to a previous menu or simply position the mouse pointer to the top of the window and press the left button to do the same. You can also press the right button of the mouse to access this documentation.
