ENERGY SYSTEMS

ECM CONSTRUCTION & ECM CONSULTANTS

The directive was to develop alternative energy systems that could produce energy from land with only a water reserve and assure that the process would be ecologically friendly. So while oil wells run dry, this system will continue to produce energy year after year as long as the sun shines and the earth rotates.

Two systems were designed and received a patent from the U.S. Patent Office. A third system is currently in the design and experimental phase.

The energy research and development effort was in a joint venture between ECM Consultants and ECM Construction of Galveston. The following is a partial description of each of the systems being worked on.

WINDTRAP ENERGY SYSTEM

The WINDTRAP is a system designed to be installed in any remote location in the world that needs additional energy in the form of electricity. It can be shipped anywhere and installed without any heavy equipment. Due to the ability to raise and lower the system it is easy to maintain and thus has a 100 year longevity or more. So while the system will cost less than $25,000, it will produce more than $10,000 worth of energy per year in a relatively high windy area. The design is such that three generators can be supported to provide electricity for home, car, and shop tools. Energy not used can be put back into the grid as authorized by congress. So that sometimes during the year, you will be receiving a check from the light company rather than paying it.

One of the unique features of the WINDTRAP system is that it will not need any heavy equipment to install it. Even a young girl can upright the WINDTRAP or take it down in the event of a storm or for maintenance. This feature provides for installing the system in remote and difficult sites that can be reached by a pick up truck.

EPCON ENERGY SYSTEM

The EPCON system was designed to support a farm or a small business. The EPCON system can take an acre of land that has a water reserve under it and create a significant amount of energy through both wind and light and natural gas energy. The system is controlled by a computer which analyzes the energy source as to its intensity and the energy requirements and utilizes all three if necessary. The solar dish and panels are capable of following the sun during the day and shut down during the night. While the solar panels will be developed by ECM, the solar dish that meets our requirements has been developed by Solar Steam, Inc of Tacoma Washington. This system as is the case for the Windtrap can be shipped to site and installed without any heavy equipment and can be taken down in the event of severe weather conditions and maintenance.

Energy not used can be streamed into the electrical grid thus providing income from the energy company rather than paying an electrical bill each month.

So while in the past oil rigs used to cover the plains of Texas, in this generation it will be EPCON systems that will bypass the oil aspect of energy creation and bulky transmittal systems.

We did encounter a problem with the patent office on the EPCON PATENT. If you key in " Serge Grant" in Google Search you can read the patent office response to our effort to reinstate the patent. Why it is there I do not know but it has depicted our arguments correctly.

MEG ENERGY SYSTEM

The next phase of Energy System Development will be the MEG system. It is planned to be housed in a facility that is displayed below. A pyramid building will house the generating plant which should provide energy for a large community. The system will be pollutent free.

While the concept was certified in 1965, lack of funding has not permitted adequate resources to develop this system at this time. This system was the basis for the startup of the corporation. Since significant funding will be required it was the intent of the originator of the corporation to develop impressive systems that would catch the eye of future investors. The second option and intent was to develop a fund generating product that in itself would support the research effort.

The animations are real extracts from videos taken at our development site.
